Quezon City has its charms, but it’s a mixed bag. The food scene is great—cheap, flavorful street food everywhere—but the traffic is brutal, even by Manila standards. I liked exploring the university area around UP Diliman; the campus has a relaxed vibe, but just outside, the streets feel chaotic. The mix of old mansions and dense apartment blocks is interesting, though not always pretty. It’s lively, but after a few days, the noise and congestion wore me down.
