  • Traffic in Budta is a nightmare—gridlock seems to be the default state, even during off-peak hours. The sidewalks are uneven and crowded, making walking nearly as frustrating as driving. Street food smells tempting until you see the questionable hygiene of some stalls. The humidity here is oppressive, and the constant noise from trikes and jeepneys makes it hard to find any quiet corner. Not the kind of place I’d choose to linger. Budta feels like a city built for necessity, not comfort. Public transport is packed and unreliable, and even short trips turn into long, sweaty ordeals. The few parks are poorly maintained, mostly just concrete spaces with little shade. Locals are friendly, but the overall vibe is chaotic and exhausting—definitely not a relaxing destination. There's a reason tourists don’t stay long in Budta. The infrastructure just can't handle the population, and basic amenities feel stretched thin. Finding a genuinely clean restroom in public areas is a challenge. If you’re passing through, fine, but I wouldn’t recommend planning more than a day here unless you have to.
