  Pudong’s skyline at night is unreal—standing on the Bund and seeing those neon-lit skyscrapers reflected in the Huangpu River never gets old. The metro system is ridiculously efficient, and even during rush hour, it feels smoother than most cities I’ve been to. Grabbing soup dumplings from a tiny spot near Lujiazui after a long day of meetings reminded me why Shanghai’s food scene is top-tier. The mix of futuristic architecture and pockets of old-school charm makes it feel like the city is constantly evolving without losing its soul.
