The metro stations are stunning, but that’s about it—everything else feels like a chore. The bureaucracy is exhausting, and even simple things like buying a train ticket turn into a test of patience. The city has this cold, unwelcoming vibe, and good luck finding a friendly face in the crowds. Prices are sky-high, especially for decent food, and the portions at most places are laughably small for what you pay. I left feeling drained, not charmed.
