Walking through Monaco feels like stepping into a postcard—clean, compact, and impossibly glamorous. The harbor filled with yachts and the Belle Époque architecture around Casino Square make it feel like a live-action movie set. Even the public elevators between steep streets add to the charm—where else do you commute vertically like this? The prices are eye-watering, but watching locals play pétanque in a park with Mediterranean views is a free luxury. Monaco’s tiny size means everything is walkable, but the bus system is punctual and spotless—almost comically efficient for such a ritzy place. Morning coffee at a café near the palace comes with the soundtrack of guards changing shifts, and somehow even the pigeons look well-behaved. It shouldn’t feel this effortless, but Monaco just… works.
