The energy in NYC is unreal—stepping out of Penn Station into that sea of yellow cabs and hurried footsteps instantly made me feel alive. I spent hours just wandering the West Village, popping into tiny bakeries for cannoli and admiring the brownstones with their wrought-iron staircases. Even the subway, with its occasional delays, has this gritty charm when a saxophonist starts playing in your car.
