Even the bus system was efficient, which made hopping between temples and markets a breeze. There’s a quiet charm here—less crowded than Guangzhou, but still lively at night with little streetside grills and tea houses staying open late. The people were warm, always quick to point me toward their favorite dim sum spot or hidden temple. For a smaller city, it felt full of little discoveries.
