I spent hours wandering through Anping Old Fort, soaking in the mix of Dutch and Chinese influences—it’s like stepping into a time capsule. The food scene here is incredible; I still dream about the bowl of danzai noodles I had at a tiny street-side stall, rich with shrimp broth and perfectly chewy noodles. What really stood out, though, was the warmth of the locals—everyone seemed genuinely happy to share their city with a visitor. Tainan’s charm is undeniable, and I can’t wait to return.
