The energy in Rio is contagious—from the moment I stepped onto Copacabana Beach at sunrise, with locals playing footvolley and the smell of fresh açai in the air, I knew this city had its own rhythm. The way the mountains rise straight out of the ocean makes every viewpoint feel like a postcard. Even the bus rides were an adventure, winding through favelas with music blasting and vendors hopping on to sell homemade snacks. The people here don’t just live in Rio; they celebrate it loudly, unapologetically, and I couldn’t help but join in.
