  • Kaduna feels tense—always looking over your shoulder kind of tense. The roads are rough, traffic is chaotic, and the air’s thick with dust from construction that never seems to finish. I tried some street food near the market, but the lack of hygiene standards had me regretting it hours later. Security checkpoints everywhere just add to the uneasy vibe. Not a place I’d choose to stay longer than necessary. The city’s got potential, but neglect and poor infrastructure drag it down hard. Public transport is a mess—overcrowded minibuses and rickety motorcycles weaving through potholes. Even the central market, which should be lively, just feels overwhelming and disorganized. Maybe it’s better for locals, but as a visitor, I couldn’t wait to leave.
