Jodhpur was a letdown for me. The heat was unbearable, even in the evening, making it nearly impossible to explore comfortably. The Blue City looked picturesque from afar, but up close, the streets were chaotic, with trash piled up in corners and stray animals everywhere. The locals seemed indifferent to tourists, and I struggled to find authentic local food that wasn’t overpriced or catered solely to foreigners. The Mehrangarh Fort was impressive, but the crowds ruined the experience, and the constant haggling with vendors outside was exhausting. Overall, Jodhpur felt more like a tourist trap than a genuine cultural experience.
