  Aurangabad has its moments—the Bibi Ka Maqbara is a quiet, underrated gem, though the scaffolding and crowds sometimes ruin the vibe. The street food near the old city gates is decent, but nothing compared to bigger cities like Mumbai or Delhi. Auto-rickshaw drivers here are relentless with haggling, which gets old fast. The place feels stuck between history and half-hearted modernization—some cool old architecture, but too many unfinished construction projects. Worth a stop for the caves, but don’t expect to fall in love.
