I was blown away by Singapore’s seamless mix of ultramodern and traditional. The Marina Bay skyline at night feels like something out of a sci-fi movie, but then you duck into a hawker center and get the most incredible $3 plate of Hainanese chicken rice. The efficiency of the MRT makes getting around a breeze, and even the airport feels like a luxury experience. I love how spotless everything is here—no gum on the sidewalks, no litter anywhere—but it never feels sterile. Little India and Chinatown are bursting with color, spice, and energy, and the rooftop bars give you killer views without the pretentiousness you’d expect. It’s pricey, sure, but the quality of life here is unreal. The blend of cultures is what really got me—Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Western influences create this vibrant, harmonious atmosphere. One minute you're in a futuristic mall, the next you're in a 100-year-old temple. And the food—oh man, the food. Every meal feels like an adventure, whether it’s chili crab by the bay or kaya toast at a kopitiam. Gardens by the Bay left me speechless—those Supertrees glowing at night, the misty Cloud Forest dome—it’s like walking into another world. And even in such a dense city, there’s so much green space. Singapore somehow manages to be
