Riohacha is a coastal city in northeastern Colombia, capital of the La Guajira department. With a population of around 188,000, it serves as a gateway to the desert landscapes and indigenous Wayuu culture of the region. The city offers relaxed beaches and a warm Caribbean atmosphere.
