Wandering through Multan’s old city felt like stepping into a living museum—narrow lanes lined with centuries-old shrines and mosques, their intricate blue tilework gleaming under the sun. The air was thick with the scent of saffron and cardamom from the bustling spice markets, and the locals were so warm, offering me chai and stories about their city’s Sufi heritage. Riding a rickshaw through the chaotic streets was an adventure in itself, and I couldn’t resist trying the famous Multani halwa, rich and golden, melting in my mouth. It’s a city that hums with history and hospitality, and I left feeling like I’d barely scratched the surface.
