  Walking through Campinas feels like discovering a hidden gem—it’s got the energy of a big city without the overwhelming crowds. The historic center is full of beautiful colonial buildings mixed with modern high-rises, and I loved grabbing a pastel de feira from one of the street vendors while exploring. The metro is surprisingly efficient for getting around, and the university vibe keeps things lively with great cafes and bars. Prices are reasonable too—way better than São Paulo but with just as much Brazilian charm.
