Banjul has this laid-back charm that’s hard to resist. Walking through the streets, I was struck by the vibrant markets—the colors, the smells, the energy. The Arch 22 landmark offers a fantastic view of the city and the river, and it’s a great spot to soak in the history. The people here are incredibly warm, always ready with a smile or a chat. The fresh seafood is a highlight—grilled barracuda at a local spot was unforgettable. It’s a small city, but it feels alive and full of character.
